Baked Shrimp Dip
25 Min

Want to be the hit of the party circuit? Then you must try our easy Baked Shrimp Dip. Made from bite-sized frozen salad shrimp and lots of convenient items from the market dairy case, this hot-out-of-the-oven creamy spread will disappear in a flash.

What You'll Need

  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1/2 pound frozen salad shrimp, thawed
  • 1/2 cup sliced scallion (green onion)

What to Do

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 1-quart baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, mozzarella cheese, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and hot sauce; mix until well combined. Stir in shrimp and scallions; mix well.
  3. Spoon mixture into prepared baking dish. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden on top and heated through.

Serve this baked dip with fresh-cut vegetables and crispy crackers.

I would really like to make this dip, but there seems to be a discrepancy whether to use the oven version. I would love some responses. Thanks, Gee DON'T need cooking spray at all. I think that would mess things up.

Prepared this for company last weekend and gave the recipe to 4 of our guests. It was a hit for sure. Mine was not soupy or runny at all. It's made the same way as crab dip basically. I left mine cool for about an hour and it was great on little slices of bagett.

I like the idea of serving on baguettes. There's more of a surface to hold the shrimp. If you just dip your veg or something into it, your shrimp aren't going to be able to hang on! lol

This was great with salmon instead of shrimp, although I think it would be amazing with both.

Oh sooooo yummy!! Doubled the recipe and made in a 9x13 pan, for a party...Went quickly...very tasty!! (served w/crackers)

Warm, creamy, & bubbly...Perfectly delicious. Made it for the football game today, and it was a hit! :)

to 'ronzeus' - You would use the over to melt the cheeses... to the friend that had it turn out like soup - sounds like they did not mix the correct proportions or used TOO much cooking spray. Too much spray absolutely will create a problem with any recipe.

i like to make shrimp dip, this one sounds quite good, but why on earth would one put in the oven and bake it, like one person says it came out like soup, i might make this one but it will not go in the oven

Would the cheese in it make it thicken up after it started to cool down? The one on the photo here did look a bit soupy. Maybe cut back on mayo or drain shrimp better?

everyone loved this dip and i cant wait to make more of it

This dip was really very good until I baked it . Then it was like pure soup. The taste was good, but I was very embarrassed to serve it at our monthly pot luck I followed the recipe exactly. I wish I had not baked it . I would have given it a good rating but after it was baked, a very poor rating.

i think if u add a little extra mozzarella its thicker
