Chocolate Chip Raisin Rewards

Wrap some Chocolate Chip Raisin Rewards in plastic wrap and they'll travel anywhere with you. Great for picnics, car trips, lunch boxes, anytime.

What You'll Need

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 tablespoons (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

What to Do

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat an 8-inch square baking dish with cooking spray.
     
  2. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Cream butter in a large bowl; gradually add  brown sugar and beat until smooth and well blended. Beat in egg, milk, and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in raisins, chocolate chips, and nuts. Spread into prepared baking dish.
     
  3. Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Cool on wire rack then cut into squares.
