We like to serve this with a side of our Broccoli with Mock Hollandaise! Mmm!

Can't remember the last time I had an eye round. Thanks for reminding me that I need to make one!!

Forgot to mention to add a little water when cooking and then make gravy after it is done.

Usually add pealed carrots and some times celery. Always cover mine and yes the leftovers are great.

What leftovers?

do i cover it in the oven?

Thanks for your question. No, you would not cover this in the oven when you roast it. Thank you!

I have just placed my dutch oven in with this meal in it! In an hour I will check it to see what the outcome is! Will surely smell great in a little while!!! Thank you Mr. Food!

That is a perfect idea. A 2-3 pound roast would be perfect for me. Left-overs are a real possibility with this recipe!

Lincoln's Lemon Custard Pie

Lemon custard pie was one of Honest Abe's favorites. His first taste of it came from Nancy Breedlove, the owner of a hotel he frequently stayed at. He loved her lemon custard pie so much, he asked her to share the recipe. Our version may not be exactly the one that's been used at the White House for years since, but it's still amazing!
