San Antonio Burgers

Everything's bigger in Texas, so you've gotta know that our San Antonio Burgers are big on flavor! Spice up your usual burger recipe with a few new ingredients that your whole gang will love!

What You'll Need

  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 cup picante sauce, plus extra for topping
  • 3/4 cup quick oats, uncooked
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 6 hamburger buns

What to Do

  1. Preheat grill or broiler.
     
  2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except buns; mix together well.
     
  3. Shape into 6 large patties.
     
  4. Grill or broil to desired doneness.
     
  5. Serve on buns with additional picante sauce.
