Herbs and spices are a super way to add extra kick to any dish. Combine these herbs for highlighting homemade herbed rolls...or mix 'n' match your favorite herbs.

What You'll Need

  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 (1-pound) loaves frozen bread dough, thawed and cut into 1-inch cubes

What to Do

  1. Coat a 12-cup muffin tin with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except the dough; mix well. Add dough and toss to coat completely.
  3. Place dough in prepared muffin cups, cover, and allow to rise for 40 minutes, or until doubled in size.
  4. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  5. Bake rolls 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden.

Made these rolls for Thanksgiving and they were outstanding!!!! I used cupcake papers in the muffin tins so cleanup was a breeze. Can't wait to make them again.

I'm going to try this except I'm going to use Rhodes Dinner Rolls ( in the frozen bread section at the store ) instead of 2 (1-pound) loaves frozen bread dough. Rhodes Dinner Rolls already come in round balls so it eliminates having to cut the loaves into one inch cubes.

Question: How many cubes per muffin cup?

Just place maybe 3 or 4, see how many fit.

Question: The recipe says 2 (1 pound) loaves frozen bread dough... Does that mean each loaf is one pound, or do the 2 loaves total one pound?

I'm pretty sure it means each loaf is one pound. So, you would be working with a total of 2 pounds of bread dough.

You would use two, one pound loaves for a total of 2 pounds. Thank you!

THESE rolls have a beautiful full color photo along with the recipe

It does have a photo of the rolls. A very pretty roll. Take my word for it.

Too bad this recipe doesn't have a photo to along with it. It would really be nice to see what something is suppose to look like after I make something.
