Can it be baked in a regular oven and at what temp and how long?

Hi there! Unfortunately, this recipe was specifically designed for a slow cooker, so we don't have any other cooking suggestions for this recipe. However, you may want to check out our recipe for Easy Fudge Pudding Cake, which is a delicious, oven-baked pudding cake. :) Enjoy!

Hi again! Didn't want to confuse anyone. I have not made this recipe so I don't know how long to bake it. But the allrecipes one I have made. It did turn out. 30 mins. But I would bake this longer, it has a little more cream cheese filling

There is a similar recipe on that uses 9x13 pan and says bake according to box . Probably 30 mins at 350 degrees. Its called cheesecake brownies, I think. Just trying to help answer some of your questions!

can this be made without a slow cooker and if it can what size pan could you use

I had a problem with the cook time for this also. I think 5 1/2 hours is way too long. I turned it off after 3 and it was still overly done with no real pudding texture at all. It was all cake like. We still liked it okay but served it with some chocolate ice cream. Next time I won't cook it so long and check it at 2 1/2 hours.

Mr Food is right SP,,,, Good Ruth in Iowa

sounds so GOOD !!!

that is so good and yummy

Made this a few days ago in a 4 quart cooker, I don't have a 3 quart. I cut the cooking time by about 45 minutes, turned the insert half way through and still had a slight scorch on about 1/4 of the cake. (I've had a hot spot with my cooker before.) It was still delicious, even the scorchy bits. I will try again and cut the time to 3 1/2 hours, plus some wiggle room if it needs more time to cook while we eat our meal. We love crock pot desserts for our Sunday noon meal over the winter, as they can cook while we are at church and be ready and warm after we eat.

Wonderful! & it's the first cake I've ever done in a slow cooker. Teriffic on a cold winter's night! Truly "Comfort food:.

Where's the pudding???? The brownie batter part of this was SO thick, that I added a little extra water just so I could stir it. Where does the pudding part come from? It took forever for the center of this to firm up, that once it did (stopped it before the 5-1/2 hrs) the outside was very burned. I had to remove 1/4 -1/2 inch of the outside all the way around to make it edible. What was left was good...definitely not pudding consistency, but more fudge-like. Anyone else have problems? Thinking the amounts in the brownie part were not correct.

I think the pudding part would be the cream cheese in the middle? Not totally sure, but it seems logical! HTH

I also would like to know how to bake this in the oven, but there has been no response to all the other requests, so I guess I'm on my own to try it. It does look like a very good recipe. Now that I think of it, I don't think it's a good idea to try it in the oven. The ingredients cost too much to risk.

I really really would like to bake this in the oven. Please let us know if it can be baked in the oven ASAP !!!!
