Neighborly Banana Cake

Neighborly Banana Cake is the perfect dessert to bring along the next time that you get together with some friends. That's because it's loaded with the nutty flavors that you love!
What You'll Need
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mashed ripe banana
- 2/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
What to Do
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 9- x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt. Add mashed banana, mayonnaise, water, and vanilla; mix until well combined. Stir in nuts then pour into prepared baking dish.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool then cut into squares.

This cake was so moist and turned out much better than I was expecting. Frosted with whipped cream cheese frosting and sprinkled with crushed walnuts.
