Chocolate Wreath Fudge

Not only does this Chocolate Wreath Fudge taste delicious, but it looks beautiful, too. It will add to your table decor until it gets eaten!

What You'll Need

  • 2 (14-ounce) cans sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (12-ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (12-ounce) package milk chocolate chips
  • Red and green candies to decorate

What to Do

  1. Coat an 8-inch or 9-inch cake pan with cooking spray.
     
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, bring sweetened condensed milk to a rolling boil. Remove from heat and add semisweet and milk chocolate chips, stirring until smooth.
     
  3. Cover sweetened condensed milk can with plastic wrap and place in center of cake pan. Pour chocolate mixture in pan around can.
     
  4. Chill 3 to 4 hours, or until firm. Remove can, then remove fudge to a plate.
     
  5. Decorate with your favorite red and green candies to look like a wreath.

under no circumstances use a good pot to boil the condensed milk. the sugar in it will ruin the vessel with the rolling boil. sugar in milk destroys the pot. I am still scrubbing out the black burned-on gunk.

Rachael Ray also makes a fudge wreath like this, but check out how she decorates it. Much nicer look.

Delicious & Pretty!

Looks like a fun recipe. I think lining the pan with some parchment along with using cooking spray on it might make getting it out of the pan without a problem easier. Has anyone made this and does it come out of the pan easily? Red m&m's would be fun decorations or even colored frostings using a tip on the tube or bag.

the first recipe i ever used (i was 9) was in a ckbk for grade school. we added unsalted peanuts, very good. love them still i'm 67 yrs old & easiest candy, & well received hostess gift

what candies are you using to make the decorations??

I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY USED... BUT FOR THE LEAVES, I WOULD GET THE JELLIED CANDY SPEARMENT LEAVES. FOUND IN A LOT OF SUPERMARKETS SHAPED LIKE LEAVES AND ARE GREEN. FOR THE HOLLY BALLS I WOULD USE RED HOTS.
