The first time we tried it, I made the recipe as written, and even though I used low-sodium taco mix, I found it much too salty. Next iteration was with no-salt tomato sauce plus chili seasonings, but still not quite what I was looking for. Third time was the charm! To simplify it a bit, I tried a pound of ground beef with a can of Manwich, and the barbecue taste did it for us! Top with grated cheddar. )

I've made a lot of potato tot recipes and forgot about this one it's a keeper you can make with ground turkey od chicken as well. Need to put in the rotation for the week.

Yum! It looks like this dish would have so much flavor!

What size casserole dish do you use?

Hi there! You can use a 2-quart or 8- x 8-inch baking dish for this recipe. Enjoy!

Can you use manwich instead of enchilada sauce?

Yes, you can substitute the enchilada sauce with Manwich. :)
