I can't find the recipe just the video and he doesn't tell how many eggs how much sugar one or two blocks of cream cheese I guess i just have to guess

CANNOT wait to try this, BUT I have a recipe similar. Line bottom of rectangular cake pan with Oreo cookies. On top of the Oreos place cut up Chocolate Chip cookie dough side to side, end to end. THEN, this is important place holes through the around the Chocolate Cookie Dough, not too many, but enough to have the brownie mix (as chocolatey as possible) that you are going to prepare to seep through the hole into the Oreo Cookies. Bake per directions of brownie mix, but keep an eye on it. This recipe was given to me from Erin (if you follow Mr Food Erin, I wanted to give credit where credit is due.) She called this "Heart Attach Brownies". It's very rich and tasty.

you should try the watkins cream cheese to this also I am a watkins dealer and make it with the watkins vanilla and the watkins cream cheese you can contact me at pambrashear1@gmail.com or 309-242-4652

5 I have made these several times and taken to different functions and have never brought any home but have always been asked for my recipe.

Don't know why it only had one star show up. I gave it a 5.

A cheesecake with a crust on top! Can you imagine the possibilities of making different versions of this Chocolate chip cheesecake. If you prefer sugar cookies or white chocolate chip macadamia, you can go crazy. Switch up the bottom and top layers. I will have a great time with this recipe.

As much as I love cheesecake you would think I would have known its origin. Who says you have to know where something came from to enjoy it? That was a great little history lesson and trust and believe, I will continue to enjoy the wonderful dessert that is cheesecake.

This is my go-to dessert recipe. I found that if I take the cookie dough and roll it out between 2 pieces of parchment paper, it will fit the pans much easier. I trace the bottom of the pan onto the top parchment so when I roll it out, I know how large to make the dough. The top is so much easier to handle this way.

This has been a crowd-pleaser among our family and friends for a long time and during this holiday time, it was the perfect dessert to revisit. It's easy, delicious (beyond) and serves lots of people. It's our definite go-to when wanting to wow a crowd!

My family loved this so much I had to make it twice in one day, thank goodness it's easy to prepare!! )

Super easy to make and very delicious.

Fabulous and simple to make! Was a big hit. It didn't take long for it too disappear.

I live in NZ and we do not have chocolate chip cookie dough what can I use thanks

Hi there! If already-prepared chocolate chip cookie dough in not available to you, we recommend making your own. Here is one of our recipes for chocolate chip cookies, you can prepare the dough accordingly and use that for this Chocolate Chip Cheesecake recipe. ) http//www.mrfood.com/Cookie-Recipes/Incredible-Cho == colate-Chunks-1885 Enjoy!

Yay! Only 5 ingredients! Doesn't get much easier than that!

Instead of using those cookie dough rolls, do you think this could be done by just using a cookie dough mix? (either from scratch or a box?)

Unfortunately, we haven't tried using other types of cookie dough mixes to make this recipe, so we're not sure how it would turn out. If you decide to give it a try, please let us know how it worked out for you. Thank you!

Two desserts in one....can't wait to try it!

This was easy peasy and delicious!! I thought it was going to be very rich and sweet using the cookie dough, but actually it was perfect..I didn't have any issues at all with this recipe..I do have to admit, it was picture perfect! Thank you!!

I made it yesterday and it is delicious but the top layer of cookie dough sunk into the cheesecake batter. Is this supposed to happen? It's not like it's ruined or anything, it's still awesome but I'm just wondering.

Hello! Did yours turn out like the photo above? We'd like to see a photo to be able to help you better! :)

Your video on chocolate chip cheesecake is not working, could you please fix it

Hi could you please give us a little more information so we can help you out? Let us know what browser you are using and if any error messages are coming up.

the pic looks like it has a top of something on it

I have not made yet, but I have a question before I do. Once they have been chilled and cut, do they need to be refrigerated?

This is one of my favorites and easy to make... I also used greek cream cheese...I've made this recipe twice so far and have people wanting the recipe.

I rolled out the cookie dough between sheets of waxed paper, it made it very easy to put this dish together. Also I used Greek yogurt cream cheese, the bars baked and set up beautifully. This recipe is a keeper.

I do it a little different. I let cookie dogh get warm and roll it out and press one roll into 9x13" dish...put the cheesecake mixture on it..roll the other cookie roll out and place it in top! Bake as usual! I have made this way several times! It is a hit with my co workers!

Excellent, quick and easy! Best after refrigerated and cold.

This easy and soooo good!

Have also made with this 2 pkgs. of cream cheese,NO eggs and only 1/2 tsp.vanilla, still very good:)

I have been making this cheesecake for 20 years. It is amazingly easy and oh so good.

Soooo good! Made these for Christmas last year and they were gone in no time. Have a batch in the oven right now for Christmas this year!

Love this recipe!! It is my husbands favorite thing that I make for the holidays. So easy and taste amazing!!

can this be made in a muffin pan for individual servings?

well I tried it in a muffin pan and it came out good. Just sprayed the pan, lined each well with cookie dough, filled with cheese cake mix and baked for about 40 minutes. Let cool all the way and gently lift right out.

can you use your own home made cookie mix

Sub 2 cups cookie dough for EACH package of cookie dough.

This was delicious! Easy to make, can be frozen for later for unexpected company or if you need a quick dessert.

I've made this many times and am actually making it as I type this....is now in the oven! Wonderful and so very easy :)

So happy to have found this recipe! I made this years ago and loved it but couldn't find the recipe. Thanks!!!

This desert sounds wonderful and I must try it! Many if not most of your recipes sound and look wonderful! One thing I do not understand, why are there so many people who constantly complain about 'just something' on this site? It is a wonderful site, so many delicious recipes, colorful pictures and a staff with the 'patience of Job' who puts up with constant complainers! Especially people who complain about too much sugar, or too much butter! I am sure there is a simple solution to your problem; go to a site that will accomodate your lifestyle as a cook.

Can you make this as fat free as possible and still be good??

i hate having to copy to word before yu can copy one of your recipes. so i may quit using your link but i like it. but that is a pain. you can copy everyone elses, just yours i cant.

Just go up to File, then down to Print Preview and the recipe will pop up. I always check if there is a page 2. Most times, there is nothing there worthwhile to print so just click Pages - 1 then click print. You're set to go. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your comments. There is no need to copy our recipes to Word in order to print them. All you have to do is click on the Print button underneath the recipe title, that's it!

I haven't tried the recipe, but I wanted to reply to jrdr. Go to www.dvo. com and get their Cook'n program. It's amazing. It will copy the recipe for you, including the picture, with a click of your mouse. I bought it because it will also calculate the nutritional analysis of your home recipes!

If you are using Google Chrome for a browser: 1. Go to "print" 2. In the "destination" field change from your printer to save as PDF 3. Click "save" 4. Now you have the recipe in PDF format! You can just keep it that way or print it if you really want it on paper

I have made something like this only have made it a no bake peanut butter cheese cake and used home made cookie dough. I have even made it without the cookie dough on top. It was a winner both ways. I will try this with just the plain cheese cake and from looking at a few of the reviews, cut the sugar/which I would do anyway and also cut out 1 egg.

I made this for my family and we all LOVED this!!!! I wouldn't change a thing!

Love it!!

I will make this a lot

I am making this for the second time it was delicious, an yes it's full of calories...... Who cares it's cheesecake ! I did use 4 packages of cookies.

Not sure if it was the recipe but it tasted like an chocolate chip cookie omelet. The cream cheese was completely overpowered by egg

Okay so for 1: I would use 3 tubes of cookie dough, not 2 if I were to ever make this again. I would also cut the sugar in the filling in half. This is INCREDIBLY sweet even for my sugar loving hubby. I would probably make this again but with a twist, making sugar cookie and lemon cheesecake, or shortbread and cheesecake. Even maybe my own cookie dough but cut the sugar in it. I was really truly disappointed.

I divided the cream cheese mixture part of this recipe in three today to make a 9" x 5 " pan. I used 1 pkg (454 gm ) of Pillsbury Ready To Bake - Choc Chip Cookies . It took 50 minutes to cook. I wanted to try it in a smaller amount first - 6 large servings or 8 small ones in this size pan. My husband liked it very much.

Originally made this with sugar cookie dough on the bottom and the chocolate chip on the top, and the reviewers said it was good but very sweet and rich. Today, I am only doing the bottom layer with cookie dough leaving the cheesecake exposed. Also, as it's Valentine's day, I am using 'Red Velvet' cookie dough! :-) For those of you saying this is not healthy...well DUH who eats cheesecake to be healthy? Also, you can use homemade cookie dough, but I would recommend making the dough and then refrigerating it so it has a nice hard texture :-)

OMG SO MUCH BETTER W/O THE COOKIE TOPPING, AND IT COOKS BEAUTIFULLY!!! NO CRACKS!!! AND THE RED VELVET OMG SOOOO AMAZING!!!!

Can you make this with a homemade batch of choc. chipcookies?

of course you can....it will just taste better.

Hi goobersis3788 1690411 - For the top layer of this cheesecake, you simply need to lay the slices of cookie dough on top of the cream cheese mixture. The dough slices will expand when baking and will create a top layer for the cheesecake. Hope this helps! -Editors of Mr. Food

While I LOVE the idea of he cheesecake/Chocolate Chip cookie combo, I was disappointed to see that it used processed ready made cookie dough...that defeats the whole purpose of cooking at home...I'll figure out a way to make from scratch, thank you...

Made this and it is our favorite! One question though. On the top the cookies cover it perfetly. I smashed mine in my hand for a bit then set them on top. Was i suppose to just set them on top or what? Confused on the top lol Not a big baker(barely can cook lol) thanks.

Great combo! choco chips and cream cheese! YUM! Love it!!

it looks good! I will make it & let U know. What about the raw egg? Shouldn't U maybe, slowly double boil it for a minute or 2? I make Tiramisu',& I cook the egg yolk over a double boiler for a few minutes. It still comes out delicious. I am a chocoholic, but I always try a recipe myself before I make it for other people. So I will be back to comment:)Francesca

Raw egg??? Did you not read the part about baking this for 45 - 50 minutes? That would cook the egg!

I made these a few time last year for Christmas and everybody LOVED them!! My husband requested for me to make them again. They are one of my favorite bars and so simple to make.

Have made them many times and LOVE LOVE LOVE them. Very easy to make and taste the best cold. ( refig).

I think I will try this next Sunday.

I won first place in a baking contest at work with this recipe. It was requested at pot lucks often.

it was awesome

I think it looks delicious but not very healthy.

Mr. food I love it. For me and my grandbaby boy to enjoy the food and eat healthly

I think it would be great if you had the nutritional values on your recipes for those people like me that want to know how many calories they are taking in, and also trying to eat healthy. You keep saying you will do that when is that going to talke place, I love all your recipes.

Sorry but if you're eating things like this you're not eating healthy!

It look's soooooo delicious

This sounds like it would be a wonderful seller at a back sale....but, does it have to be kept refrigerated ?

I have made this several times. I have left it at room temp. after it has been baked and never had any problems. I have also used other flavors of cookie dough like sugar cookie then put chocolate sauce on top.

It was very easy to make. My 18 year son loved it! It keeps well in the frige for a few days.

could you use the ready made cheesecake filling?

Could you use cookie dough made from scratch?

why not? People need to get a little more brave.

That is what I plan to do next time, not a huge fan of packaged cookie dough...made it one time with the pre-made dough i think it would be a lot better with made from scratch but it was yummy any way!!

I do, I love it and wouldnt use store bought cookie dough.

I made these last night with from scratch cookie dough - I made a double batch and it was WAY too much. Took HOURS for it to cook, and never fully cooked. I think it would be okay if you maybe only use 1 1/2 a batch or maybe just one.

looks tasty i will try

Looks so delicious and simple to make. I've waited a whole week to make this since I'm on a diet and today is my cheat day. I can't wait!

GREAT!

Can't wait to try this..Looks YUMMY!!!!

I don't any of your recipes with Nutritional Information on them. Please do better.

You seem a tad hostile. You could have just asked, not demanded they do better. ALSO. In case you haven't noticed, they didn't include which brands they used. Nutritional information can vary brand from brand.

in my opinion if you are worried about nutritional value you are on the wrong food category

Yea, come on it depends on what you use to the nutritional value. Plus, its not like you had to PURCHASE this recipe so personally they don't owe you anything. Great site!! Thanks for sharing these yummo recipes.. I'd rather NOT know LOL

I have made this recipe many times. Easy and tasty. It makes the best cheese cake bars.

Very very tasty! I substituted the 3/4 cup sugar with 3 TBSP of Splenda. Easy to make.
