Farm Stand Fruit Dip

- MAKES
- about 1-1/2 cups
- PREP
- 5 Min
Fresh fruit is good on its own, but it's even better when served with a sweet and creamy dip, like our Farm Stand Fruit Dip. Perfect for dunkin' any of your favorite fruit or pound cake chunks, we like to serve it at get-togethers or whip it up for snacktime!
What You'll Need
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (7-1/2-ounce) jar marshmallow cream
- 1 teaspoon orange extract (see Note)
What to Do
- In a bowl, combine all ingredients; mix until smooth and creamy.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
- To kick it up a notch, add 1 tablespoon of your favorite liqueur instead of the extract.
- This dip is especially good with strawberries, but we've also served it with cantaloupe, honeydew, grapes, and apples, and even pound cake!

My late aunt was a caterer and made this dip, but she only used cream cheese and marshmallow cream. We all still make this for our family parties. Will try with liqueur and also with cherry juice. Thanks

I have made this dip using 2-3Tbsp of maraschino cherry juice in place of the liqueur. I then used approx 4-6 of the cherries as a garnish. I have also tasted this dip made with vanilla in place of the liquid used to flavor. I think any way you make it, it turns out so so good!

I've made this using strawberry cream cheese, marshmallow cream, and a half container of whipped cream. Or substitute pineapple cream cheese as well.

I've made this, but omitted the liqueur and put in some cinnamon. It is especially great with strawberries, it's sweet so the berries don't have to be.

I used wildberry wine cooler instead of liqueur, and use as a sauce over a mixture of a variety of fruit( rasberry, blueberry, grapes, cantalope, kiwi, strawberry, apple, banana, clemintines) and it was the best fruit salad I ever had. I love fruit salad.

Instead of liquer, I use maraschino cherry juice. It gives the dip a pink tint. I've also heard of using lemon juice, but I haven't tried it.

I've made this dip, but insted of liquer our family uses orange juice, a little sweet condensed milk or lemon. All three are great.
