Spiced caramel apples and a chilly autumn day are a match made in heaven! If you like caramel apples, then this Spiced Caramel Apple Cider that's simmered with caramel sauce and apple pie spice will be your new autumn favorite.
What You'll Need
- 1 (64-ounce) container apple cider
- 1/3 cup caramel topping
- 1 1/2 teaspoons apple pie spice, divided
- Fresh whipped cream for garnish
- Additional caramel topping for garnish
What to Do
In a 3-1/2-quart slow cooker, stir together cider, caramel topping, and 1 teaspoon apple pie spice. Cover and cook on LOW setting 4 hours.
Pour cider through a fine wire-mesh strainer; discard spice. Ladle into individual mugs, and dollop with whipped cream. Sprinkle with remaining apple pie spice, and drizzle with additional caramel topping.
Nothing like a plate of homemade hot Apple Fritters to go along with our cider!
