How to Separate an Egg

How to Separate Eggs

We've found that there are three easy ways to separate egg whites. Check them out below and let us know which one is your favorite!

Traditional Method:
1. Crack your egg.
2. Using the two egg shell halves, pass the egg yolk back and forth over the bowl until all the egg white have slipped off and into the bowl.

Egg Separator:
1. Place a bowl under your egg separator and crack your egg into the egg separator.
2. The egg white will run into the bowl, while the egg yolk will stay in the egg separator.

Water Bottle:
1. Crack your egg on a plate.
2. Place the opening of an empty water bottle over the yolk and squeeze. The yolk will come right up. (Kids will love helping with this method!)
