Here's an all-in-one skillet meal that your family is sure to love! Our All-in-One Sausage Dinner is made with your favorite Italian sausage, along with some veggies, and yummy egg noodles. Everything cooks together in a homemade sour cream sauce for extra-goodness. And it only takes about 30 minutes!

Entire family loved it. I did two things differently. Have one that doesn't like Italian sausage, so I used breakfast sausage. And since feeding 6 I used 2# of it. Followed recipe exactly for ingredients. Did not put the noodles into the sauce to cook. Boiled them and put sauce on top. It was fantastic. All 6 loved it. The site is not letting me put my stars.....but it would be 10 if they had that many!!

This recipe is delicious!!! I was surprised at how flavorful it is. I made this for the first time exactly as written and my family loved it. No leftovers. Easy to prepare and clean up is a breeze. I'm sure I will be making this again and again.

Can a sugar substitute be used in place of the sugar?

This sounds really good, but I'm caught off guard by the sugar. Why all that sugar?

Hi there! Thanks for reaching out. This recipe only calls for 1 tablespoon of sugar. Were you looking at that specifically? Or did you mean the 11g in the nutrition bar? That calculates the sugar from the entire recipe.

Thank you. I was referring to the 1 tablespoon of sugar in the recipe, but now that I see the 11g per serving, I'm blown away. I've never considered including sugar in what looks to be a savory dish.

This recipe is a winner! I used a 19-ounce package of Johnsonville Mild Italian sausage. Instead of using 1 can of whole tomatoes I used 1 can of diced Italian tomatoes. (Not fond of the whole ones). Other than that I followed the recipe to the letter. Next time I might sprinkle a little grated Parmesan cheese on top. I'm wondering how this would be with Johnsonville fresh Bratwurst.

I plan to make this dish tonight. It sounds tasty, also easy to prepare. I plan to use 'turkey Italian sausage', and also add 1 lrg. clove of finely minced garlic. I'll cook the noodles separately (since I don't want the starch in the dish) and mix them in after they're cooked drained. I'll top the dish off with a generous sprinkle of minced Italian parsley, and some (optional) grated Parmesan cheese on the side.

This is a fantastic recipe. Delicious an! Filling. I made it exactly as written and it came out perfectly. Next time I will try it with half hot sausage as my family requested more spice.

This is my Mom's recipe with some added zip.... she used country sausage, didn't add chili power, and used macaroni. The mild Italian and the chili powder give it some zip. For two of us I cut the sausage down to just over 1/2 lb. Only procedure I changed was to fold in the sour cream right at the end and heat for a minute or two until it was hot.
