Please tell me how much to use in fresh yams! Do I mash first or measure first? How many cups? Thanks waiting for reply to make. Sounds so good.

When using fresh yams, you'll need about 4 lbs measured before mashing.

Hi, Martin! No changes needed; just make sure not to prebake your crust!

It would be apx 3 large sweet potatoes: If you have a 29 ounce can of sweet potatoes simply mash them and measure in a cup. That will be a guide for the next time you need to substitute. I have done that in the past.
