"Everything" Sauce

(0 Votes)

When you get tired of plain chicken, broiled fish or beef, add this yummy "Everything" Sauce to change up your everyday recipes! You can even put it on pasta, rice or potatoes!

What You'll Need

  • 1/2 pound finely diced kielbasa-type sausage
  • 1 cup finely chopped scallions
  • 1 cup finely chopped parsley
  • 1 cup finely chopped celery
  • 2 medium tomatoes, diced

What to Do

  1. In a large frying pan, lightly saute all ingredients over medium heat. When mixture begins to brown, remove from heat and drain off the fat.
  2. Serve with broiled fish, chicken, beef, veal, pork, pasta, rice, mashed potatoes or add to an omelet.

Notes

For a nice change, add extra ingredients to the sauce -- tarragon for fish, basil or oregano for pasta, or maybe a little hot sauce. Everything goes!
