Who doesn't like shrimp, mushrooms, and cheese? Super Shrimp Casserole is the perfect way to combine all these favorite ingredients in one easy, super dish.

What You'll Need

  • 1 pound cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons butter plus 4 tablespoons softened butter
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

What to Do

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Arrange shrimp in a single layer in a greased shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  3. In a medium skillet, saute mushrooms in 3 tablespoons butter until lightly browned. Transfer mushrooms to a medium bowl and toss with flour.

  4. Stir in sour cream, the 4 tablespoons softened butter, soy sauce, and salt and pepper to taste. Pour mushroom sauce over shrimp; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika.

  5. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, or until bubbly.

Note

We recommend serving the shrimp over warm cooked rice or noodles.

I've cooked this recipe a few times now. It's delicious! And easy!

WOULD YOU PLEASE GO TO ANOTHER RECIPES SITE, SO WE DON'T HAVE TO READ YOUR BORING COMMENT ABOUT NUTRITION,

Nutriton content would be helpful for those of us who watch, fat, salt and carb intake

http://www.thecaloriecounter.com/ This is a good site for nutritional content.

OMG! Not only is this easy and quick to make, it was very good. Hubby and I both enjoyed it. Will definitly make again. Thanks.

I have to agree with Camille52220631908....obviously this site DOES NOT give nutritional values. If you give need that information, you won't find it here.

This is deliicous, but what is margeqc 7958089 talking about noodles, I didn't see any noodles in the recipe. I fixed as was and it was perfect

sounds so delish , but i'd use medium width noodles.

If the shrimp is already cooked, why does the recipe say peeled and deveined, isn't the cooked shrimp already peeled and deveined, may be a dumb ? but just wondering?

they are talking about fresh shrimp in a shell, not the kind yu buy frozen.

Anita-1874438 March 11 2012 Why do you put( is my recipe) befor you put save receipe . This seems to happen to often

Sounds easy and delicious, noodles would be my preference, can't wait to try

When are you going to begin giving nutritional information for your recipes? We are in desperate need of this information. I can't make a recipe unless I know the carb count.

I wish you people that keep asking for nutritional info quit posting here. You know that this site never gives nutritional info. So, quit trying to sound so uppity about it. Instead, quit boring us to death and go some other site that you know gives nutritional info. This site only gives recipes that taste good to people who are not worried about nutritional value...FYI...all food has nutritional value.
