Parmesan Corn on the Cob

There are a number of ways to prepare fresh corn on the cob b- boiled, steamed, grilled- but I like the quickness of the microwave and the fact that the nutrients are retained when foods are cooked in the microwave. Whichever way you prepare it, the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning snap your taste buds to attention!
What You'll Need
- 4 ears fresh corn
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
What to Do
- Remove and discard husks and silks from corn; place corn in a microwave-safe dish. Add water; cover and microwave at HIGH 8 to 9 minutes or until tender. Drain.
- Combine butter, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning in a small bowl. Brush butter mixture over corn; sprinkle corn evenly with salt.
