What You'll Need

  • 3/4 pound fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 6 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt

What to Do

  1. Combine green beans and water in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes or until crisp-tender.

  2. Add bacon and seasoned salt; simmer 10 to 15 more minutes. Serve with a slotted spoon.
