Adorable! Cookie wrappred chocolate kisses. I love this idea. Making this recipe in my house will be a challenge because a bag of kisses will not stay around long.

I love this recipe. My family adores kisses and I plan to modify the recipe a little. The sprinkles will indicate the type of kiss inside. With so many flavor varieties, how could I just use the original kiss?

Can you use a stick of butter shortening instead of a stick of butter???

Why would you want to? Use unsalted butter in the long run it has to be better for the body. tastes better too!

You can also you reese peanut butter bells instead of the kiss and dye the white chocolate colors for wrapping paper and use different color sugar. Very tasty too.

I used peanut butter cookie dough and melted 'almond bark'.

Delicious and easy as always.

I am so upset...making these for my kids school party...and they melted down to round cookies!!! Not the cute kiss shape like on here...what have I done wrong??? please help fast!!!

Just made these for the first time and will be taking them to a church cookie swap...They are great and easy....just a little time consuming. I did have to keep adding a little milk a few times to keep the dough moist and more pliable. Thanks for the recipe!

I have had this recipe for years, only they were called Christmas Surprise Cookies....and baked in the Microwave.......

I made these cookies and they're wonderful. But am interested in how long you cook them in the microwave as opposed to cooking in the oven? Any other differences?

Vanilla - 1 Tablespoon???? Is that the correct measurement or should it have been "1 tsp"?

Just saw this recipe on tv, haven't made it yet but sounds great and easy. I like the comment from elaynemu6737785 about using different kind of kisses, different colors. You could also use peanut butter cookie dough and even peanut butter kisses for the dip, if you're into peanut butter of course!

I have a similar recipe but it uses refrigerated sugar cookie dough. It does not have the white chocolate dip though which I think would be really good and just think how pretty your cookie tray would be if you added green or red to some of the dip. And there are a ton of different flavor kisses now. You could do chocolate cherry, chocolate caramel, and chocolate mint. It boggles the mind. I could do a whole tray with just these-ones with green frosting are chocolate mint, ones with white are regular chocolate and ones with red are chocolate cherry. Would that be cool or what?

Thank you! I was scrolling down looking to see if anyone said I could use refrigerated dough. I have a disabled 9 year old daughter who likes to "bake" and the refrigerated dough would make it easier on me. She cannot mix the ingredients and gets impatient.

Why does it say chilling time 30 minutes? Do you chill the dough? OLeta
