This has to be one of our most-requested and best-loved cookies ever! These cookies are big, puffy and very chocolaty. We warn you: these can be addictive and should never be consumed without a big glass of cold milk!
What You'll Need
- 2 (4-ounce) packages semisweet baking chocolate, divided
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups chopped walnuts
What to Do
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coarsely chop 1 package of chocolate; set aside.
- In a large microwaveable bowl, break up remaining package of chocolate and microwave on high power 1 to 2 minutes; stir until chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Add brown sugar, flour, baking powder, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla; stir until well combined. Stir in nuts and reserved chopped chocolate.
- Drop batter by 1/4-cupfuls onto baking sheets. Bake 13 to 15 minutes, or until cookies are puffed and tops are dry. Cool slightly on baking sheets then transfer to wire racks to cool completely. Serve, or store in an airtight container until ready to serve.

Is the flour correct? 2 eggs, 2cups of nuts and only 1/2 cup of flour?
