Fresh berries sure do dress up a banana split nicely. Add a little hot fudge and a few chopped peanuts, and you've got yourself a Banana Berry Split!
What You'll Need
- 2 bananas, sliced in half lengthwise
- 6 scoops vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce
- 1 cup fresh blackberries
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 1/2 cup chopped peanuts
What to Do
- Place 2 banana halves in a dessert dish; add 3 scoops vanilla ice cream between banana halves.
- Top with half each of hot fudge sauce, blackberries, raspberries, and chopped peanuts. Repeat procedure with remaining ingredients in another dessert dish.
This dessert fixes up fast, in just 5 minutes! Let your appetite dictate how much this treat serves-2 if you and a friend are ravenous or 4 if you're in the mood for sharing with the gang. Either way, this banana split is berry good!
