What You'll Need
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon chopped sweet onion
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
What to Do
- Pulse first 6 ingredients in a blender 2 to 3 times until blended.
- With blender running, pour oil through food chute in a slow, steady stream; process until smooth. Stir in pecans. Use immediately, or store in the refrigerator up to a week.
Arrange cut fresh fruit or canned or frozen (thawed) fruit over lettuce leaves, and drizzle with this sweet and tangy dressing. Or serve the dressing over prepackaged salad greens.
