  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 bay leaf

What to Do

I pretty much make my soup this way too. I use fresh thyme if I have it, and a touch of red pepper flakes. Start off by sauting some bacon or pancetta, makes a good flavor base. The amt. of veggies, broth (Chicken or clam) and potatoes, tomatoes (I use canned tomato sauce) is flexible to your taste. I'm from NY, I know Manhattan clam chowder.

I entered FIVE stars, for some reason it shows ONE.

I don't see any stars next to where it says "My Rating" on my screen, so how am I supposed to rate anything? You supposedly cannot leave a comment without rating it first. This is the second time I have posted about no stars on my screen to click on and nothing has changed.
