Turkey Sausage Burgers

Lighter in fat and versatile, ground turkey is the key to making your own Turkey Sausage Burgers. This change of pace from traditional burgers is a healthier burger option.
What You'll Need
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon fennel seed, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
What to Do
- In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients. Form mixture into patties and broil, grill or pan-fry in vegetable oil until meat is done and no longer pink.

Why is it called sausage burger when there is no sausage in the recipe?
