I've been looking for an onion ring recipe that I can call my own. And this one is it! I like buttermilk in the batter and I love Panko bread crumbs! Winner winner chicken dinner! I have had trouble in the past with the batter falling off of the onion rings so I hope things turn out okay for me. If anybody has any tips I'd be interested to hear them. Thanks

Best rings I ever made. Loved the Panko crunch. Was a little thick added a little Half/Half I had on hand. Shared with friends the recipe. Jean of Kulpmont, Pa

You can either leave it out, or substitute it with onion powder if you'd like.
